I am working towards posting all relevant tests here.
Hair Tests – Over the years I sent several hair samples to various companies. It took a while to learn that if someone cannot interpret it, then it’s a waste of time and money. For example, if a test revealed that you were low in sodium and high in mercury the you would assume that you need more salt and may as do a heavy metal detox at the same time. It would depend on how strong you are but in most cases this would be the wrong approach because replacement therapy is not how the body works. In regards to heavy metals, your body actually utilises them when it doesn’t have what it really needs, so in fact you could be making things worse by doing a detox.
This may have been my first hair test back in 2002. I didn’t understand how important it was at the time. The dark shaded area, the IDEAL area, is where mineral levels should be. I took supplements for a few months and expected quick results. When that didn’t happen, I moved on to the next thing. I wanted a quick fix and this wasn’t it. That was a mistake. All the top doctors hadn’t even seen tests like these before and didn’t have anything positive to say about them.
‘Low’ Four Lows is not a nice place to be in. I was extremely burnt out and had dug a very deep hole for myself, of which I had no idea how to get out of. I felt like I was in a swamp up to my neck and the harder I tried the deeper I went.
Blood Tests
These usually came back “perfect”. I’ll never forget being hardly able to walk into the doctor’s office after Mum had driven me down because I couldn’t drive myself. After getting my perfect results back I was stunned. I asked myself ‘how could I feeling so utterly dreadful and be pronounced ‘in perfect health’. This is why it’s so easy to slip into the trap of thinking ‘well it must be mental then’ and rely on medication to do the job.
Our bodies will do whatever they can to keep those blood tests “perfect”. Minerals will be sucked out of muscle and bone until there is nothing left. Blood has be kept at a ph level of around 7.4, anything less that that, and we die. If your blood needs alkaline minerals like calcium, and there isn’t sufficient amounts in the places it should be, then it will ‘borrow’ some from elsewhere in your body.
