My first few weeks on distilled water have been quite a surprise as I underestimated the cleansing side effects. I’m guessing it will take a few months to really get a gauge on how much of a difference it makes.
The theory with distilled water is that it has no inorganic minerals (calcium, magnesium etc) attached to it so it acts like more a solvent throughout our bodies. It actually starts attracting unwanted inorganic particulates and therefore gradually cleanses us. We get our organic minerals from whole foods. The best ‘mineral water’ would actually be from squeezed veges and fruits, so for me not tolerating fruits then I would go for the greens. If not squeezing then at least have a good chew on my own veges from the garden. For those without a garden then a small pot or planter box in your kitchen would be a start.
We don’t need inorganic minerals. This why machinery needs distilled water because a mineral water would calcify and clog it. I recall while living in London my kettle would get calcified but I would still drink the water thinking my body would process it all. Maybe it didn’t process all of it and this sludge starts to build up inside us.
It makes a lot of sense. If anyone wants to learn more then there are some great videos around by Andrew Norton Webber. He goes as far as to say urine is actually the greatest distilled water and some people have done successful 30 to 40 days urine fasts. I understand that one would have to be free of any medication and have done a lot of prep work with distilled water and clean diet for months before attempting anything like this. I’m still researching.
Dr Robert Cassar who runs a health retreat on Big Island Hawaii also promotes distilled water with sauna therapy and clean eating. He has great abs too which you will no doubt see 😉 He has made some very informative videos, his site is eartheracademy.com
I’m currently buying my distilled water in plastic bottles from the supermarket but in a few weeks time I will decide about a bench top unit from a company like Steampure or Aquanui. Or there are cheaper cylindrical units that go for about $300. No plastic and cheaper in the long run.
Only time will tell whether this ‘dry’ water really has some magic to it; i hope it does. If anyone else has had some success with switching to distilled water then I’d like to hear from you.
Other news:
I’m using my tiny but effective infrared sauna (homemade, $250) every couple of days at the moment but don’t seem to notice too much a of a difference. At this point i just have faith in that it’s doing it’s job. I’m going by ‘feel’ more than anything else; just doing one when it feels right. Coffee enemas not so much at the moment.
After limited results I stopped the vitamins I was on. If they hadn’t had a marked effect on me after 18 months then I guessed they weren’t ever going to. Perhaps they were clogging me up even more. I do make sure eat very clean – about 30/70 meat/eggs to vege ratio and no processed food. Very low starch and very little sugar. That’s what works for me. A vegetarian diet at this point in time doesn’t work for me.
I stopped the Natural Thyroid extract. It worked well a year or so ago but it seemed to turn on me and it felt like my mind was going a million miles an hour. I was burning out. My TSH is at about 3 so it has come down which is good. I will use a transdermal Iodine next and see how that goes. I rub some transdermal Magnesium on too.
I’m chewing my food to a liquid. Swallowing chunks of unchewed food is wasting all the nutrition. The stomach won’t do your chewing for you – just think of that corn you swallowed whole – it comes out the other end exactly how it went in. Digestion happens mainly in the mouth.
To everyone out there struggling at times with their own journeys – hang in there and don’t give up. We’ve been lied to for a long time about health but all this good information is starting to come to the surface again. Be patient and keep safely trying things.
